Impound Releases
If your vehicle has been impounded by the College Park Police Department you must obtain a vehicle release form from the station officer before the vehicle can be released by the Wrecker Service. In order to obtain a vehicle release form the vehicle's registered owner (only) must come in person to the College Park Police Department and see the station officer in the front of the building and present:
Current Tag Registration
OR
Vehicle Title (properly signed & dated)
OR
Notarized Bill of Sale (less than 31 days old)
AND
Proof of Insurance
AND
Valid Photo Identification
The College Park Police Department currently contracts with
Moody's Wrecker Service located off of Camp Creek Pkwy across from the Georgia International Convention Center at:

You may get a "tow only release" on your vehicle if you do not have current registration or insurance. This means you have to arrange for either Moody's wrecker service or your own wrecker service to tow your car from the impound lot. You must have current registration and insurance to operate a vehicle on Georgia roadways.
